The UAE is group of Emirates consisting of seven big cities. I’m going to write about the similarities and the differences in the life now and forty years ago.
There are some important similarities between living in forty years ago and in these days. Firstly the religion is still the same. For example, before forty years Emirates were Muslims’ and they still Muslims’ up to now and they still pray in the Mosque. Secondly in both times now and in past years the social life stills the same. For example, the people still sit together in big groups in Majlis. Another similarity between them is that they both still eat together in one group from one dish.
Although there are some similarities, there are some differences. One difference is the transportation. For example, in the past people used to use camels and wooden boats to move from place to another, but now people use cars, planes, and motorcycles. Also, people in the past used to eat fresh food but in these days’ people eat canned food and frozen food. In contrast people in the past lived in wooden houses or mud houses, but now they are living in big houses or villas and flats.
All in all we have to thank our God for the positive improvements. Also we have to keep our traditions. I think the UAE will be one of the best countries in the world when you consider the changes over the past forty years.
